Lg have equipped this television with a full high definition 1080p display with a contrast ration of 3 million to 1. Not bad for a medium sized TV!
The incorporated LED Backlighting in tune with the Intelligent Sensor combine to make a superior television viewing experience.
The Intelligent Sensor automatically adjusts to the ambient light in the room thus providing a better picture in all lighting conditions and without you needing to adjust the picture settings.
Power consumptions is good also at only 87 watts and it receives the Energy Star rating. It wont drain you bank account if you forget to turn it off.

I was mistaken when I thought that the Lg 37lv3500 was inappropriate for sports viewing. I was so intent on getting a 120hz LED television that I had totally overlooked anything with a 60hz refresh rate and thought I had made a big mistake when I bought this TV for sports viewing. But, this is not the case now that I have this TV. There is no motion blurring. I watch alot of sports including baseball and tennis. There is no motion blur with a tennis ball or baseball at all. Sales people love to push 120hz TV’s to sports fans but it is not needed with this TV. I’m not sure about other types of 60hz LED televisions but this one doesn’t have any motion blurring. I did read somewhere that you don’t notice the motion blur TV’s smaller than 40″. This could be the reason why I don’t notice it. All I can say is I am happy that I can watch quick moving sports action without any motion blur. I am thrilled I didn’t make a mistake by purchasing this TV because watching sports on it is a real pleasure. It is great value for the $500 that I paid.

I got this new TV to connect it to my computer, xbox and PS3. So far, WOW! Each is connected through HDMI cables and I am very pleased with the result. I have played my favorite games on it and have enjoyed every minute of it. The set arrived inside 2 days from ordering and only to about 15 minutes to set it up. I sit back about 6 feet from the screen and the picture is crisp and clear. It an awesome monitor that I am really satisfied with. Amazon has these at great prices so don’t hesitate to get yourself one.
