The Re-emergence of 3D Television
It certainly looks as though 3D is making a strong comeback. There were many critics out there saying that 3D was too expensive to maintain. The recording equipment was just not viable especially for sports. Well, a year on from those type of negative comments is seeing the 3D world grow stronger.
It has moved into gaming with conviction. There are a range of games you can play in 3D these days. Whilst I have never tried gaming in 3D (not into gaming really) I would like to experience it some time soon.
The HDTV’s that are hitting the market this year show that the trend is in favor of the 3D evolution. These TV’s are just as good in 2D and now that the price is coming down more and more people are buying them.
So, it looks like 3D may be here to stay for good this time. The technology is so much better than it used to be. And, there are different types of 3D technology. Make sure you do you research before you buy one. Some 3D glasses require batteries while others do not. Some TV’s transmit the 3D images with differing technology.
